Hyderabad: Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha former Rajya Sabha MP and President All India Tanzeem-e-Insaaf and professors and lecturers of Osmania University called on BC Commission along with Prof. S A Shukoor and made representation in favour of Muslim reservations.
Mr. Aziz Pasha said previous mistakes done in connection with providing reservations to Muslims should not be repeated and BC Commission report should be free of legal complications. Citing Sudhir Committee and other Commissions’ report Mr. Aziz Pasha said that reservations were cancelled in the past on the basis of incomplete survey. He said Commission should visit various districts and review the situation personally. He lauded BC Commission’s efforts and advised the commission to conduct separate survey on conditions of Muslims without relying upon Sudhir Commission’s report and submit a comprehensive report to the government.
