New Delhi : Sonam Kapoor’s most awaited flick `Neerja’ has received thumbs up from the Bollywood celebrities, who took to the social media to shower words of praise on it.
Actress Huma Qureshi tweeted, “Congrats @sonamakapoor on #Neerja.. what a film!must watch ..@AzmiShabana makes Ur know once again what a power house of performance she is.”
Boman Irani tweeted, “It’s not very often I go nuts over a film. Thank you @atulkasbekar thank you. For making #neerja happen.”
He continued, “#RamMadhvani ‘s #Neerja will make every Indian proud. Will be loved & referenced for a long long time. But for the moment I’m emotional!”
Film producer Nikhil Advani wrote, “#Neerja is a tour de force. YOU CANNOT MISS IT!!! @sonamakapoor @AzmiShabana are fantabulous. The supporting cast is brilliant.”
Directed by Ram Madhvani, the film sees Sonam playing the title character in the biopic of the brave and courageous 23-year-old flight attendant, Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life to save passengers from the hijacked flight.
The flick also stars Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani in the key roles and is slated to hit the theaters on February 19, 2016 (ANI)
