`Bajrangi Bhaijaan` welcomes Geeta

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Salman Khan took to social media to applaud India and Pakistan’s efforts of reuniting Geeta, a hearing and speech impaired Indian woman, with her family.

Expressing his happiness over Geeta’s return, the 49-year-old actor took to his Twitter page and wrote, “Two countries have worked together to reunite a girl with her family. The power of love. Welcome home Geeta.”

Earlier, Geeta, who had accidentally crossed over to Pakistan as a child 15 years ago, had expressed her desire to meet ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, Salman Khan, before meeting her parents.

Geeta arrived at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, along with five members of the Edhi Foundation, which has been taking care of her during her stay in Pakistan.(ANI)
