Ban on conversion: Yogi Adityanath to introduce private bill in Lok Sabha

Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath, BJP MP in Lok Sabha and Tarun Vijay, BJP MP in Rajya Sabha to introduce private member bills in their respective Houses to stop religious conversions.

 

On Friday during a conference at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, MPs made this announcement. They said that it is essential to put a stop to conversions of Hindus. They also claimed religious conversion is a planned conspiracy in India.

 

While addressing, Yogi Adityanath said that religious conversion is an anti-national act which must be stopped. He also said that Hindus’ share in population is getting decreased day by day and now it has fall below 80% which is an alarming situation.

 

Adityanath added that government alone cannot maintain national unity and prevent religious conversion, it is every Hindus duty.
