Hyderabad: Leftist students’ organizations are actively engaged in organizing beef festival at OU on 30th June. On the other hand, rightist students’ organizations are also getting ready to oppose the festival.
After imposing the ban on cow slaughter by Govt. of India, many students of various universities have been protesting against this ban. They say that any attempt to curb the freedom of food would not be tolerated. The proposed beef festival has the support of various student organizations. The student leaders say that they would contact the leaders of various political parties to muster support for the festival and also to invite them.
