New Delhi : The 2015 blockbuster ‘Piku,’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, has clocked one year today and its director Shoojit Sircar and Big B are celebrating it with tweets.
Film director Shoojit tweeted, “Celebrating one year of #PIKU.”
‘Piku,’ which had garnered wide critical acclaim upon its release, also emerged as a commercial success worldwide.
The film had given Deepika her Second Filmfare Award for Best Actress, while the 73-year-old actor received his fourth National Film Award for Best Actor at the 63rd National Film Awards for his commendable performance in the film.
Additionally, Big B’s 1992 romance drama ‘ Khuda Gawah’, which had won much acclaim for all its actors and especially, the lead pair – Sridevi and Amitabh Bachchan, has completed 28 years today.
