Motihari (Bihar) : A girl was allegedly gang-raped by five men in Motihari district of Bihar after she lodged a formal protest against the molestation attempt on part of one of the accused.
The victim was going to defecate in the field when one of the accused namely Samiullah molested her and made a video clip of the same.
The victim narrated the incident to her mother, who went to the residence of the accused to lodge a formal protest in this regard. However, the woes for the victim’s family continued as they were instead insulted by the family members of the accused who refused to pay heed to their plight.
Offended by the allegations levelled by the victim’s mother, the accused along with his four male family members namely- Aliullah, Javiullah, Smrullah, Klimullah and Nurullah barged into the victim’s house, dragged her out and eventually gang-raped her.
During the heinous crime, the accused also forced a homemade gun and wooden sticks inside her private parts after which the girl collapsed. The accused later left the girl naked on the road side assuming that she was dead.
The victim later gained conscious and called for help following which the cops on patrolling duty got her admitted to a primary health Centre from where she was referred to Motihari Sadar Hospital.
The victim is currently in a critical condition while the accused are still on the run. (ANI)
