A solo painting exhibition of Mrs. Bilquis Bilgrami, Hyderabad based painter residing in Canada, will be held at Sarishta Art Gallery, Jubilee Hills from December 5 to 20. Mr. Jagdish Mittal inaugurated the exhibition. Mrs. Bilquis Bilgrami is counted among the artists who give message to public through their versatile creations.
After completing graduation, Mrs. Bilquis Bilgrami studied art of painting from Govt. Art College of Fine Arts and Architecture. After getting expertise in paintings she got scholarship from Italy government so that she could study Arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze (“academy of fine arts of Florence”) in central Italy.
Today her masterpieces are counted among rare paintings. Her painting exhibition is being held in Hyderabad after 50 years. She became popular for her landscape paintings.
