Union Minister for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party was emerging as an alternate force to the ruling party in Telangana.
Speaking at a party meeting in Bellampally in Mancherial district, the BJP leader said that the nation was making strides under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people are impressed with the corruption free governance of the BJP in the Centre, he said.
Dattatreya said that the influence of BJP was growing in Telangana State and the people were looking at it with a hope. He said that the NDA government was sanctioning huge funds under various schemes to the State. But it was the responsibility of the party in power in the state to ensure it reaches to the beneficiaries. He said that the party would strive to get national status to the Kaleshwaram project. (INN)
