Finance Minister Eatala Rajender on Saturday accused BJP national president Amit Shah of carryingn out misleading propaganda against the TRS Government.
Speaking to media person at TRS Legislature Party office here, Eatala disputed the figure of Rs. 90,000 crore which Amit Shah claimed has been released by the Centre for Telangana State. He said so far, the Centre has released just Rs. 36,000 crore as State share in taxes. He alleged that the BJP-led Government did nothing concrete for the development of Telangana State. He said that the Centre has appreciated a few schemes being implemented by TRS Government while some States have started emulating Telangana. However, he alleged that the Telangana Government was not given any funds to implemented.
Eatala said being the national president of ruling party, Amit Shah should speak with a sense of responsibility and he should be realistic.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali also condemned Amit Shah’s statement. (INN)
