The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday hit back at actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for his tirade against the BJP led Central government on a host of issues. Pawan Kalyan had in the last couple of days attacked the Centre on various issues including demonetization, suicide of Dalit scholar Rohit Vemula and other issues.
Speaking to media persons in New Delhi, AP BJP state in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh criticized the actor for attacking the Centre on issues not related to the Modi government. He advised the actor to pursue serious politics first and divulge on the issues later.
“I would request Pawan Kalyan to become knowledgeable. At least when you want to pursue serious politics, do some political studies on the Constitution,” the BJP leader said. He said that in the past he had asked the actor to bring out issues that were not covered in the financial package or issues in special status but the actor did not respond to his request. (INN)
