BJP to hold workers’ training workshop in UP

Lucknow:The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a two-day training programme for its workers in Bareilly starting Saturday, a party spokesman said.

Under the ‘Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Maha Prasikshan Abhiyaan’, over two lakh workers of the state unit would be trained to expand the party base and inform people about the work done by the Narendra Modi government at the centre.

All district unit presidents and unit heads will take part in the training session, to be inaugurated by union Social Justice Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot, spokesman Chandra Mohan said.

The concluding session would be presided over by the state party president Laxmikant Bajpai.

Senior party leaders Murlidhar Rao, Dinesh Sharma, Shiv Prakash, Sunil Bansal and Sudhanshu Trivedi are expected to address the workers.

The Bareilly training session would be followed by ‘unit workshops’ across the state on August 8-9 and 15-16.
