BJP leader Eknath Khadse on Dawood’s most-dialled list, minister denies allegations

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Eknath Khadse was the most-dialled number by India’s most-wanted fugitive Dawood Ibrahim.

India Today has reportedly accessed an international call list which has revealed the BJP minister’s alleged connections with D-Company.

A Vadodara-based ethical hacker Manish Bhangale had revealed Dawood’s call records to India Today.

According to the report, the underworld don used to call the Revenue minister from his Karachi residence and from 4 different numbers. The numbers are registered under the name of Dawood’s wife, Mehajbeen Sheikh.

Khadse accepted that the telephone number was indeed registered in his name but denied the allegations that neither he nor any of his family members ever talked to the fugitive gangster or any of his family members.

The Maharashtra government has now ordered a probe into the matter after it was hacked and the list was made public.
