BJP misguiding the people: Cong

Faridabad: Congress today accused the state government of trying to misguide the common man and all the sections of the masses like farmers, labourer, were lodging their protest because they are not finding the comfort of living with ease.

Ashok Tanwar, President of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee also slammed the Manohar Lal Khattar government in the state of ignoring the basic necessities of the common man.

“BJP is working against the direction, which it boasts of in its words,” Tanwar said during a meeting here.

On the occasion, he also announced that Sardar Paramjiit Singh, who had left the party, had joind the party again.

Tanwar said the Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal started “Cleanliness drive” but every district of the state are witnessing the badly maintained roads, blocked sewers and dump of garbage at every nook and corner of the state.

Tanwar said the BJP government is just trying to misguide the common man of the state.

He said in the BJP regime all the sections of the masses such as farmers, labour etc are lodging their protest because they are not finding the comfort of living with ease.

Tanwar claimed that Congress has been formulating the policies to support businessmen, labour and employees in their regime, as a result the party was strengthened, on the other hand, “BJP is just supporting the capitalists”.

Commenting on the latest decision of BJP government making matriculation as mandatory qualification for contesting Panchayat elections, Tanwar said the rule is not logical.

If an illiterate person is empowered to vote, why is he not allowed to contest the election? Tanwar called upon the party workers of Congress Party to take up the problems of the common man to the highest authorities and get them resolved to let people realize that while Congress is the government of action, BJP is the government to talk only.
