The Bharatiya Janata Party has reportedly offered the post of Governor to Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram.
According to sources, the offer was made by BJP floor leader G. Kishan Reddy when Kondadaram met BJP leaders on Tuesday seeking their support in various agitation programmes TJAC proposes to hold against TRS Government in the State. However, Kodandaram has politely refused the offer and said his only goal was to fight to protect the interest of people of Telangana State. (INN)
