Telangana BJP vice president S Malla Reddy demanded action against the doctors of Sarojini Devi Eye hospital and others who were responsible for loss of vision of seven persons after operations.
It was an unfortunate incident that took place in a government hospital where poor people go with a hope of getting treatment, he said in a statement here.
Demanding an ex-gratia of Rs five lakh to the victims, Mallareddy said the government should bear the expenditure for their treatment to get back their eye vision. He also said the state government should take measures to see that medicines and other material being supplies by the different agencies are in good condition, he said.
