BJP seeks details of works done by TRS govt

Hyderabad: BJP floor leader in Telangana assembly G Kishan Reddy today asked the ruling party to give details of works it has taken up for development of Hyderabad after it came to power.
Speaking to media at party office here, he said the entire city came to standstill with just three hours rain which lashed the city. What will be position if the city experienced rains for one day, he wondered and asked the government to at least take a lesson after seeing Chennai. Low lying areas have been inundated due to rains water gushed into houses as government failed to take up desilting of all nalas. This shows negligence of the government, the BJP leader said.
Pooh poohing the claims of the TRS government to make Hyderabad city as an international standard city, Kishan Reddy said adding that the situation might have become severe had the city experienced rains more than three hours. The BJP MLA alleged that TRS did nothing for the city after it captured GHMC which had made promises before elections. (NSS)
