BJP slams KCR govt for slashing number of GHMC wards

Telangana BJP floor leader Dr K Laxman today faulted the TRS government for slashing the number of wards in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Dr Laxman said the division of GHMC wards was not done scientifically. As against its earlier announcement that municipal wards would be increased to 250 under the limits of GHMC, the TRS government reduced the number of wards to 150 which is highly objectionable.

The name of combined candidate for Warangal would be announced in a couple of days, Laxman said and alleged that conspiracies are being hatched to scuttle winning chances of combined candidate. However, the party would firmly face TRS conspiracy, he warned. (NSS)
