BJP, TDP have no right to seek vote in Warangal civic polls: Harish Rao

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Telugu Desam Party have no right to seek vote from the Warangal voters as both have failed to get a single rupee from the Centre for development of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons in Warangal on Sunday, Harish Rao slammed the Centre for not allocating any funds for the Wagon Factory in Warangal district. He said that the State BJP leaders have failed to make effective representation with their Central leadership to get funds for the State. Therefore, they have no moral right to seek votes. Similarly, he said vote for TDP would go waste.

Harish Rao said that the victory of TRS candidates was essential for the development of Warangal district. He said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was giving lot of focus on development of Warangal and therefore, he sanctioned highest number of 2BHK houses for the district. He said that the Warangal district would get a Textiles Park soon. Further, a Shilparamam would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 crore. He claimed that the district would witness overall development if TRS wins the civic polls. (INN)
