Dhaka : The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has said it is ready to cooperate with the government with its experience in combating militancy in the country.
The party also called upon all, irrespective of their political identities, to come forward with all-out efforts to combat militancy on the basis of national unity.
“BNP is the most experienced and successful government and our party is ready to assist the government in a bid to combat any kind of militant activities,” Daily Star quoted BNP senior joint secretary general Rizvi Ahmed as saying at a press conference .
Lambasting the government for blaming the BNP for the recent incidents of killing, Rizvi alleged it seems the government wants to hide masterminds.
The fact is that the government is yet to find out any clue of those much talked-about killings, Rizvi said.(ANI)
