Botcha demands CBI probe into land deals at Amaravathi

Hyderabad: YSRCP senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana today alleged that A P Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was not able to give an explanation on land deals in the jurisdiction of Amaravathi and demanded a CBI inquiry into it.
Speaking to media at YSRCP office here on Friday, Botcha wanted to know what action Chandrababu Naidu has taken against the ministers and MLAs, who bought lands in the new capital region. He said Chandrababu Naidu took lands from the farmers on the pretext that a new capital would be built. But in the name of new capital, lakhs of crore rupees were being amassed by ruling party members, the YSRCP leader said and demanded a CBI inquiry into the land deals. (NSS)
