Breeze, drizzle brings relief from heat to Delhites

New Delhi: Cool breeze accompanied by light drizzle brought the temperature down by several notches today in Delhi, bringing relief to the residents from sultry weather.

Delhi has been reeling under severe heat wave conditions with the rising humidity now adding to the woes of the people.

Yesterday, the national capital recorded a maximum of 42.6 degrees Celsius, three degress above normal, while humidity levels too shot up making it tough for people. The minimum settled at 30.6 degrees, three notches above the season’s average.

The humidity in air oscillated between 85 and 40 per cent.

On Saturday, the minimum temperature had settled at 30.0 degrees Celsius while maximum temperature was recorded at 42.9 degrees Celsius. (ANI)
