Loksatta founder-president Dr Jayaprakash Narayan today said Brexit would be an opportunity for India if we set the house in order. “This would be an opportunity for development of our country and in eradication of poor”, he stated in a statement here.
There was a need to introduce reforms in the country like autonomy to the states under the onstitution, direct elections of chief ministers, funds to local bodies, decentralisationof power. After the Brexit Britain and EU would need skilled workers and India should utilize this opportunity for providing standard education and health , Jayaprakash Narayan said.(NSS)
