A bride along with three other women suffered injuries in an acid attack Saturday by a youth in Ludhiana’s Saraba Nagar locality, police said.
The attack took place when the victim was getting ready for her wedding. The assailant entered the salon on the pretext of delivering some papers and fled after throwing acid on the bride, police said.
The victims were rushed to a hospital. No arrest has been made so far, an officer said.
Ludhiana is 110 km from Chandigarh.(IANS)
