Brothel house in Gandhinagar raided, organizer, sex worker held

Hyderabad: Task Force sleuths, along with Gandhinagar police, raided a brothel house at Gandhinagar on Saturday night and nabbed an organizer and rescued a woman. The cops also seized one cell phone and cash of Rs 1050 from the accused.

The accused were identified as Tonuguntla Mallikarjuna Rao, 50, of Flat No. 103, Street No 15, Santhi apartment, Gandhi Nagar and native of Bradipet, Guntur organizer, Ruksana Begum alias Sony Begum, 24, (divorcee), native of Soldee, South City, Kolkotha, West Bengal.

Police said Mallikarjuna Rao collected sex workers from Kolkata, Mumbai and so on and kept them in the rented house and was charging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 from each customer and paying commission to sex workers.
On a tip-off, the Task Force team raided the brothel house and apprehended the organizer and rescued one woman victim. (NSS)
