Buoyant Broad eyeing Test series win against Lanka, Pak

Johannesburg : England fast bowler Stuart Broad believes that his current team are in a good position at the moment as they are looking ahead for a Test series win against Sri Lanka and Pakistan later this summer.

England, who won last years’ Ashes series, started their season with a thumping victory over South Africa before making their way to the finals of the recently-concluded World T20.

England, however, did not manage to claim victory in the Test series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Highlighting that England have seven of the nine Test trophies available, Broad said his side are motivated at the moment and have great opportunity to beat the two sides by playing some exciting cricket, Sport24 reported.

The 29-year-old admitted that his side had faced some inconsistent days due to a young squad, but added that England would continue to play their positive game.

England will play three-match Test series from May 19 before taking on Pakistan in the four-match Test series starting from July 14 at the Lord’s. (ANI)
