Cabinet panel to decide on joint venture projects

Housing Minister A Indrakaran Reddy, who heads Cabinet Sub-Committee on pending joint venture projects in the city said they will soon find lasting solution to related problems. In week days or 10 days, the committee will take a final decision to complete 19 joint venture projects, he said.

Along with the committee members, including Finance Minister Etela Rajender and Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, Indrakaran Reddy made a field visit to the pending projects, including DLF at Gachibowli, Madhukan at Kukatpally, Serin Estates and IJM in the city.

Later he said that the committee which already reviewed the issue will meet again to take a final call. Right now these projects being taken up by the State and private partnership are pending for various reasons, he said. In the wake of managements seeking extension of time for completing the projects, the Committee will meet to iron out a solution, the minister stated. While some projects were completed, others did not.
