Can tolerate anything, but not India’s division: Rajnath Singh

Khatima (Uttarakhand) : Upping the ante against anti-India slogans in the Jawaharlal Nehru University ( JNU) campus, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said the government can tolerate anything but not sloganeering against the nation.

“We can tolerate almost anything, but sloganeering calling for India’s division won’t be accepted,” Rajnath said after inaugurating the two day Khatima Festival.

“I want to assure you all that our government won’t care for coming to power again but wouldn’t let the integrity of the country get tarnished,” he added.

The Home Minister in his speech further said that he has asked the forces guarding the borders to retaliate the cross border firing befittingly.

“I have said that we must not fire the first bullet, but if Pakistan fires the first bullet, then the bullets shouldn’t be counted,” he added.
