The GHMC has announced that it will reward with Rs 50,000 to those who pay Property Tax, trade license fees before July 31.
In a pressnote here on Saturday, GHMC Commissioner Dr B Janardhan Reddy announced that the GHMC will conduct a draw on August 1 every year and give awards to the people, who pay Property Tax and arrears in time. He said the cash awards will be given to the people, who pay their taxes through Mee Seva, E-Seva Centers and online. The bumper prize is Rs 50,000, first prize Rs 25,000, second prize Rs 12,500 for two persons, third prize Rs 5000 to five persons, fourth prize Rs 2,500 to 10 persons and consolation prize Rs 1000 to 75 people.
The Commissioner also said the Rs 2,500 cash prize will be given to 20 persons if they paid property tax through online. Rs 1000 to be given to 25 members, who pay trade license fee through online, he informed. He said the people have to extend their cooperation to the city development by winning the cash awards. He revealed that transaction charges will be exempted if the people pay their Property Tax through debit and credit cards through online. (NSS
