Cashless transactions must: Rajiv Sharma

Chief Advisor to the TRS government Dr Rajiv Sharma and Chief Secretary K Pradeep Chadra today called upon the employees and people to get accustomed to cashless transactions and avoid using liquid cash.

At an orientation program for Secretariat employees here they said that cashless transactions will prove handy and avoid problems related to carrying cash. Youth are aware of using plastic money and cashless transactions and it is time for encouraging the same. They said that cashless transactions will remain forever as the Centre has taken a firm decision against black money, corruption and terror funding.

They exhorted the people of Telangana to avoid getting panic as the situation arised out demonetization and long queues and denial of money at banks and ATMs will not last long. Since the Centre has taken a determined decision to push ahead with plastic money we are bound to make cashless transactions they said. Cashless transactions can be done through mobile phones, smart phones, swiping machines at shops, outlets, petrol bunks, and other business establishments.  (NSS)
