Hyderabad: Wakf Board has decided to install CCTV cameras in Hajj House to control the illegal activities. In the first phase 8 CCTV cameras have been installed. CEO of Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Asadullah told that Wakf Board has decided to install CCTV cameras in a phased manner. During its first phase 8 cameras have been installed which include Qazat section.
It may be mentioned that Qazat section was out of the range of CCTV cameras earlier. There were many complaints of corruption in this section. Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare has prepared a project which will be implemented soon. It may be mentioned that there are 32 CCTV cameras out of which many are not functioning.
