Paragwal, Aug 4 : In the wake of repeated and consistent ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor sector, Health and Medical Education Minister Chaudhry Lal Singh has told the Islamic republic that if they cannot control their army, they should seek help from India.
Singh said, “Our soldiers have been responding but the problem is that the Pakistani government cannot control its army at all. Pakistan’s people do not regard their government’s authority. Our government has been trying consistently to hold a dialogue and resolve the issues but these shameless people are not within the control of their government”.
He added, “If you cannot control your militant, your army or your people then please seek help from India. We will fix it in two days. But I don’t know what’s the matter with them, why are they afraid?”
Singh said that firing from the Pakistani side started at six in the morning and confirmed that a village zamindar, who was at his farm at the time, was killed. He added that shelling continued even as he spoke.
“People are worried and the situation is out of control,” Singh told ANI.
Luv Singh, a resident, said that the Border Security Force (BSF) has been responding to the shelling but not in the manner as they should.
“The villagers living along the border have shifted from their homes to a safer place but this area is not safe at all,” he said.
