Hyderabad: Governor of TS and AP, Mr. ESL Narasimhan who had proceeded to New Delhi on 17th May was scheduled to return yesterday but after spending the night, he would arrive in Hyderabad today. He had invited the attention of PM on the letter written by Mr. KCR in which a request was made to handover Secunderabad Parade Ground.
Due to the special interest taken by the Governor, Center agreed to handover Secunderabad Parade Ground to Telangana for the construction of State Secretariat.
Authentic sources revealed that in a meeting chaired by Defense Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitley, detailed discussions were held in New Delhi yesterday and it was unanimously decided to handover Secunderabad Parade Ground land to State Govt. as per the wishes of Mr. KCR and Mr. Narasimhan.
It is also reported that Governor himself prepared a report on the present situation of A.P. and TS to President of India instead of getting it written through the officials of Raj Bhavan.
