Hyderabad: Chairman of Central Water Commission, Mr. G.S. Jha told that the commission has approved an assessment project. This project was granted after the installation of software. Analysis of water is being carried out. This project will come to an end next year.
It may be mentioned that the last analysis of water was done in 1993. Since then no such analysis was taken up. Mr. Jha was addressing the international conference on water, agriculture and food security at ICRISAT. This conference was organized by Water and Land Management Training Research Institute (WALAMTARI), Hyderabad.
