Pune (Maharashtra): Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the AYUSH Ministry, Shripad Yesso Naik on Saturday said that a new national health policy to promote Indian system of medicine will be announced in next six months.
Addressing a national health camp and health exhibition in Chinchwad near Pune, he said that an Ayurvedic institute will be set up in New Delhi on the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences within the next three months.
He said, a number of agreements have been signed with the United States, western countries and the World Health Organisation to promote the Indian system of medicine.
