It’s Centre’s duty to help solve AP problems: CM

Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today observed that it was the Centre’s responsibility to help Andhra Pradesh, which was facing various problems after bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing party workers here, Chandrababu said they were trying to go ahead on the path of development by resolving each issue and problem which comes in the way. The Chief Minister felt the Centre failed to allocate adequate funds to the State in the Union budget. Naidu said he had spoken to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely and apprised him of the feeling of the people of the State on the budget.
The Chief Minister also said he has already brought to the notice of the Prime Minister about the State’s problems. It was the Central government’s bounden duty to fulfill all the promises given to AP at the time of division of then united Andhra Pradesh like special status and Vizag railway zone. (NSS)
