Chandrababu condemns Jagan’s land jibe ; Says Lokesh didn’t buy Hailand

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Narra Chandrababu Naidu today condemned that YCP Chief and Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy allegations on capital city land purchases as false and denied that his son Nara Lokesh buy Hailand land worth Rs 425  cr. Addressing a press conference at Secretariat here, he expressed anguish over the series of articles published in Jagan’s newspaper. Chandrababu warned of serious consequences against Jagan Reddy and scribes for wrong reports and maligning the image of the government on Amaravathi capital city land. The Act will take its course against Jagan Reddy if failed to prove allegations and also his newspaper including scribes who are carrying out such malicious and baseless news stories, a furious Naidu stated.

However he said that TD leaders like Dhulipalla Narendra, Payyavula Keshav did purchase piece of land near capital city and Union Minister Sujana Chowdhary, MP Murali Mohan bought lands before elections which is not crime or wrong he said. He also stated that the ministers Pattipati Pulla Rao and Narayana did not purchase the land and also denied reports.

Chandrababu vehemently criticized Jagan Reddy for trying to malign the image of the Telugu Desam Government with regard to capital city land. I denied Lingamaneni office space and working from an office on government land, he said. Chandrababu said that the farmers and land owners gave land generously and the government did not exerted force for Amaravathi construction. Of 1756 transactions from Sept 2 to Dec 8 last year, 1724 acres purchased, from Dec 9 and till date of 9904 transactions 6500 acres purchased involving 9213 acres. He also said that 604 persons bought 515 acres by the time of capital city announcement. (NSS)
