Chandrababu vows to get Call Money culprits punished

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today informed the Assembly that the his government would take stern action against the accused involved in Call Money racket.

Participating in the debate on Call Money scam, the Chief Minister informed the House that 188 persons were allegedly involved in the scam. Of them, 65 persons belonged to the YSR Congress Party, 20 to the TDP, 12 to Congress, six to CPI, one to CPM, four to BJP, two to Loksatta and 78 others have no political affiliation. He also alleged that the YSRCP members were creating ruckus in the House deliberately as they fear that their complicity in the heinous scam will be exposed. He also said his government was considering to bring a law to curb this type of trade/business. (NSS)
