Charlie Hebdo slammed for depicting dead Syrian child as a sexual molester in Germany

The French magazine Charlie Hebdo have sparked new embroilment by illustrating a cartoon of Aylan Kurdi, the three-year old Syrian who died in the sea in September on the way to Europe.

The cartoon shows Aylan Kurdi, as an adult who is carrying out sexual assaults on the streets of Cologne, Germany, on New Year’s Eve.

The caption reads: “What would little Aylan have grown up to be? An ass groper in Germany.”

Social media users says the cartoon is highly racist and disgusting. It
depicted Muslim immigrants as molesters, and use a dead child to prove the point.

A minority disagreed and argued for the satire. Charlie Hebdo was attacked last January by ISIS militants who killed 12 people.
