Job Description:

CA, MBA Finance from Tier 1/ Tier 2 business Schools

Leadership, Team Management, Communication – verbal and written, Ability to build alliances/partnerships, Technical Expertise in Accounts, Compliance, Fund Raising, Good Ethics and Values

At least 15 years of professional experience in the Finance, Accounts, Compliance, experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry would be preferred Previous experience in managing a team of people is compulsory. Should preferably have experience in raising funds through a variety of sources (Debt, Equity)

– Works with other CXO level people to ensure creation of the overall organization business plan and budgets

– Takes inputs from Direct Reports for preparation of the same

– Understands the overall organization vision / goals for the year and the role this department needs to play in its achievement

– Prepares the goals/objectives and budget for the organization by taking inputs from seniors and juniors, internally and externally

– Roll out this plan with the department and obtain their buy-in

– Monitors budgets and highlights variances (if any)

– Creates processes for regular reporting (meetings, periodicity, agenda, attendees) and facilitates the development of the relevant reporting formats and mediums (Hard copy, excel, PPT, email etc.)

– Provides guidance and inputs to the HODs for developing the policies and ensures that they are in sync with senior management expectations – in sync with what the organization seeks to achieve and project

– Ensures that the roles, work processes and relevant formats are ready and in agreement with each other

– Suggests review measures required on internal controls, audit findings and finding by BOD

– Helps Senior Management in strategic and financial evaluation of potential partners

– Prepares alternative financial structures for these partnerships and obtains senior management approval on the final structure, cash flow, tax planning etc.

– Prepares the entire plan leading to the IPO

– Deals with all related advisory bodies – investment bank, consultants etc.

– Ensures successful completion of the same

– Provides guidance in preparing an efficient tax structure for the organization

– Identifies advisory services for the advancement of new or current assignments

– Acts as the face of the company during meetings with the higher officials of statutory bodies

– Acts as a bridge between department and the MD to ensure that there is no communication gap upwards or downwards

– Conducts regular reviews with the entire team to ensure that work is happening as per plan and budget

– Acts as final trouble shooter for all operational level issues in the department

– Participates in the preparation of monthly / quarterly cash flow and funds flow projection statements

– Acts as a bridge between department and the MD to ensure that there is no communication gap upwards or downwards

– Conducts regular reviews with the entire team to ensure that work is happening as per plan and budget – Branch disbursements and recoveries, repayments to banks/FIs, Idle Fund levels in HO and Branch

– Acts as final trouble shooter for all operational level issues in the department

– Ensures creation of an efficient capital structure

– Keeps abreast of the various sources of potential funding and focuses on restructuring the current funding to improve its efficiency and cost

– Acts as a bridge between department and the MD to ensure that there is no communication gap upwards or downwards

– Conducts regular reviews with the entire team to ensure that work is happening as per plan and budget

– Acts as final trouble shooter for all operational level issues in the department

– Quarterly review meeting for all HODs / ZMs
