A coordination meeting was convened today by Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao with the District Collectors of Krishna, West Godavari and Chittoor to review and finalize the protocol arrangements are to be made during President of India Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to Andhra Pradesh in the last week of December 2015.
The Chief Secretary said that TTD has taken up construction of Vedapatasala at Ai-Bheemavaram in West Godavari District with necessary infrastructure such as school building, hostel, staff quarters, pushkarini and yaagasaala etc.,. The President would inaugurate Veda Pathasaala. The President will also visit Tirupati, Chittoor District.
The Chief Secretary issued instructions to all the concerned to extend all protocol courtesies ceremonial reception and send off for President’s visit by coordinating with President’s Office and as well as with Chief Minister’s Office and appoint two liaison officers at West Godavari and Chittoor Districts for this programme.
