Beijing: Chinese engineers said preparations for the launch of the country’s first quantum satellite this month is almost finished.

Zhu Zhencai, chief designer of the satellite, said the satellite had been loaded onto the carrier rocket, the People’s daily reported on Monday.

Space scientists have conducted 20-day-long tests on the satellite after it was delivered to Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre last month.
