Class X student of a residential school made to stand whole night by principal

Hyderabad: In an appalling incident, a class X student of a residential hostel run by a Trust was made to stand outside his hostel room for an entire night. When his parents asked for the reason, the principal of Chinna Jeeyar Educational Trust at Muchintal in Shamsabad, told them that the boy had stolen Rs 100.

The parents lodged a complaint with Shamsabad police against the cruel punishment. The incident was reported by Deccan Chronicle.

Boy’s father Premnandanchari is the resident of Manicharan. Shamsabad police has started an inquiry based on the complaint from child rights activists and the boy’s parents.

Child rights activists are said to have received another complaint regarding a student named Kiran Kumar beaten up by the principal for calling a teacher “nuvvu” (you).
