Congress Legislature Party leader K Jana Reddy has expressed displeasure over the State government suspending BJP members from the House on Friday for the remaining session. In protest against the BJP members’ suspension, the Congress staged a walkout from the House.
Speaking to the media later, Jana Reddy alleged that the TRS government was trying to suppress the Opposition even if the latter lodges its protest. He opined that the situation will not be like now in case the State government retained Dharna Chowk at Indira Park. He demanded that the State government reveal as to why it suspended the BJP members from the House. He said the State government was striving to suppress the voice of the Opposition parties. (NSS)
