Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has welcomed introduction of a Constitutional Amendment Bill to accord Constitutional authority to the National BC Commission. He has congratulated the Union Government for the same.
The CM termed the act of providing Constitutional Status to the National BC Commission as a progressive act. He also said the TRS would extend its full support to the Bill in Parliament. The CM has instructed his party MPs to extend support to the Bill and vote in its favour in Parliament on behalf of the Telanagana State and the TRS.
By giving a Constitutional validity to the National BC Commission like the SC/ST Commissions, it would do a great benefit to the people, especially the Other Backward Classes, the CM opined. (NSS)
