TSPSC gets a green signal from court

The State government has embarked upon appointing 1311 Agriculture Extension Officers to strengthen the farm sector. However, some candidates, who are working on contract basis approached the High Court raising some objections. The High Court, while dismissing their plea, stated that the contract employees should also get the equal marks as other selected candidates to get the job. It also made it clear the service of the Contract Employees need not be taken into account. This led to the appointment of the Agriculture Extension Officers by the TSPSC. (NSS)
