CM promises houses to journalists


Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao assured the journalists that measures will be taken to provide houses to journalists. Representatives of various journalists’ societies led by Alam Narayana Chairman Telangana Press Academy called on Chief Minister at camp office and expressed gratitude over announcement to provide houses to journalists.

Chief Minister invited suggestions in this connection and said that government plans to construct double bed room houses for poor. He assured that journalists would be provided flats constructed on a bigger area. It is said that the government is preparing a scheme in this connection under which a part of the expenses will have to be borne by the journalists.

Press academy members and journalists organisations thanked the chief minister and appealed to allot houses to all deserving journalists.
