The voice raised by MLC MS Prabhakar against the corruption and irregularities in Minority Welfare Department, has created stir among government quarters. On one side M S Prabhakar is being patted by general public and social organisations and on the other side government is in search for a suitable person for the post of Secretary Minority Welfare.
According to reliable sources Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is unhappy with the performance of Minority Welfare Department and he has advised to change the Secretary and appoint any suitable officer on the post.
To give an impression that he himself wishes to quit the post, Omer Jaleel has sent a letter to Chief Secretary requesting him to relieve from the responsibility of Minority Welfare.
