Jaipur: A college student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her room in Kota city of Rajasthan, police said today.
Lovely Gupta, a student of B.Sc (Biotechnology) at a private college, was suffering from depression for some time and took the extreme step last night, Investigating officer Babulal said.
The girl hails from Gopalganj in Bihar and her parents have been informed about the incident, he said.
