Muslim Jagran Manch state convenor Shaik Muhammad has knocked the doors of State Human Rights Commissions alleging that he had threat to his life from Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhan.
Muhammad alleged that he was campaigning for the rights of the members of the Muslim community and was striving for their welfare. However, the MLA was trying to create hurdles in his fight for the rights of the downtrodden. He alleged that the MLA was threatening him of dire consequences.
Responding to the plea of Muhammad, the HRC directed the SPof Ongole to submit a detailed report on the issue by September 19. (INN)
